Hey friends! Just popping in for a quick work in progress update on my current cross stitch.

I actually like this photo because you can see the sparkle! ✨

If you’re new here, this is The Little Mermaid pattern from Disney Dreams x Thomas Kinkade.

Unfortunately this pattern is only available second hand so I can’t give you a direct link, but you can find this and others from the same collection on eBay or other reseller marketplaces.

I am loving how this is coming together so much. Cross stitch is a hobby I love because I’m not real creative when it comes to making things, but I can follow directions. So counted cross stitch works perfect! 😅

I haven’t updated in a couple weeks, so I’ve finished almost a whole other row since last time. I write on my to do list to complete 2 squares every day, but I haven’t been actually doing it. My hope is that I’ll be more disciplined moving forward so this doesn’t actually take me a year to complete.

I don’t usually display my finished pieces, they end up in a drawer or tossed in the trash (😬) but below are the two most recent finishes.

The first is by Riolis, and is Starry Night.

The next is from The Witchy Sticher and is her Stephen King pattern. This is the only one that I actually have framed, and it’s hung by my bookshelf. (That link takes you to her book, but I found the pattern on Etsy.

So fun! I love it.
