Sermon Notes : Death by Echo

• Take over, Lord. 
• We ♥️ eFam!
• 1 Kings 19:1-19
• Even when Elijah running from God, God fed him anyway. 
• When you know you’re off track, but God provides for you anyway. 
• What if God got it right?
• The part you replay has a lot to do with how you feel. 
• Do you replay the wrong part?
• Tormented over something I didn’t even hear. 
• The devil torments us about things that aren’t even true. 
• The enemy is strategic. 
• How long are you going to go back and forth?!
• The the devil could, he would. The threat is empty. 
• What gods?
• When God uses you you can be thanksausted. (Thankful & exhausted.)
• No sooner do praise God for the victory and another problem comes along. 
• Blessing doesn’t cancel pressure. 
• Praise reports turn into prayer requests. 
• James 5:17-18
• Private prayers. 
• Isn’t it possible that the thing you are the most freaked out about is never going to happen!?
• He didn’t really pray. 
• God came anyway. 
• He didn’t stay.
• A real prayer is not complaining but supplication. 
• Asking God to make it different. 
• Philippians 4:6-7
• When you are empty you have to get intentional because if you don’t fill that space the enemy will. 
• Thinking isn’t praying. 
• God steps into our situations when we ask Him to do something about it. 
• Pressure will let God send the blessing into your life but cause you to run from the thing God sent you. 
• Running from the wrong thing. 
• He’s replaying what Jezebel said instead of what God showed. 
• When you are empty you forget your victories and you fixate on your enemy. 
• The threat is empty unless you let it echo. 
• God has a move from his throne. 
• Replay the ravens. 
• Remember the resurrection. 
• Nothing is dead until God is done with it. Nothing is over until God says so. Dry bones hear the word of the Lord. 
• When the pressure is too great, we turn out back on the blessing. 
• Echo kills your faith. 
• The cave is the place where you feel safe, but makes you more anxious. 
• We turn our backs on the things God gave us. 
• Thank God for the times you didn’t really pray but he came anyway. 
• We want answers, God wants us to have better questions. 
• When you go in your cave, the cave talks back. 
• The cave makes you feel, think and act crazy. 
• God’s presence is intimate and special. 
• The reply is in the replay. 
• When you start with “I”, you can hear the whisper. 
• The voice of the lord speaks. God says Go. 
• There is something ahead that is bigger than anything that is behind you. 
• I’m coming out of this cave!
• Start your prayer with You and speak to God. It’s about him, not about me. 
• God’s been too good for me to stay here.
• This cave is not my grave!
• If you stay in I, it will die but it won’t be death by exile but death by echo. 
• The regret can only paralyze you if you keep replaying it. 
• It’s not the threat that kills me it’s the way I let it echo. 
• We replay our shame but Jesus already paid for it. 
• Come back to the place you know God called you to be, and live the life you know you are called to live. 
• I’m choosing to live by the whisper.
