What’s up, friends? This week’s progress for my current WIP is below.
I’m so happy with how this is turning out so far. I think that I’m about to be humbled greatly when I get to the half and quarter stitches, but I’m not there yet, so I’m just enjoying the process.

You can’t see it in this photo, but there is some pearl filament tweeded into some of the stitches so it’s starting to sparkle.
This kit is so special to me : it’s the Little Mermaid kit from Disney Dreams x Thomas Kinkade.
These are long out of production and incredibly expensive if you can find them. I found one on ebay and my husband bought it for me for Mother’s Day.
The seller was incredible, and the kit was in perfect condition.
I’ve got a loooong way to go, but love watching the progress come together square by square.
Also, don’t come for me. I know that working 10×10 might ruffle some feathers, but that’s how I learned, and what I prefer. I did buy some gridded fabric to try to stitch larger sections at a time, but it took the fun out of it for me, so I went back to how I’m used to doing it.
Also, the fabric is 18ct, so I had to get reading glasses and need to use a reading light as well. Hello 41! 😂
There’s my update for this week. Don’t forget to subscribe if you want to follow along and see my progress each week.
Until next time…🌴
