We don’t know each other, so you won’t know that I absolutely love to cross stitch. I’m not crafty AT ALL, but cross stitch is the one thing that I feel like I can actually do because everything is laid out, and all I have to do is count. 😂
For Mother’s Day my husband bought me a project that I’ve wanted for a long time. The company has gone out of business so now all of the existing versions are completely expensive.
I found one on eBay and asked him to save it for me because I was going to save my fun money for it. He bought it for me and gave it to me instead.
I’ll be posting frequent updates so you can see how it all comes together along the way.
Full disclosure : this will not be a quick process; I am a slow stitcher and work small sections at a time so it takes me a lot longer than it might take someone else. And that’s okay.
So, here’s my first update photo.
This is going to be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to watch it come together stitch by stitch.
In the meantime, I’m going to start reading all of the books on my personal book shelf.
I thought that I would be reviewing books here, but I’ve determined that I do not like reading on a deadline so I’m not doing any types of reviews at this time unless it’s a cookbook.

I’m actually sitting at my desk typing this instead of curled up on the couch. It feels weird, not gonna lie – but I’m excited to see how this space comes to life in the coming weeks.
