Hey friends! I’m back with another cross stitch update that you didn’t ask for!

I really need to learn how to take a decent photo.

I’m also bummed that you can’t see how it shines in real life. There’s pearl filament weaved into some of the stitches, particularly the rainbow part right now that make it sparkle.

I’m so loving this project. I wish that someone else would develop these patterns so that I could realistically obtain them all instead of needing to sell a kidney to do so.

If you’re new here, I’m currently doing a cross stitch of The Little Mermaid by Disney Dreams x Thomas Kinkade.

The company that was producing this line of cross stitches went out of business so now you can only find them secondhand on eBay and other sites at wildly marked up prices. My husband bought me this one for Mother’s Day (and I cried).

I’m a slow cross stitcher, only working small sections at a time so it’s going to take me a while to finish but I hope you’ll stick around to watch it come together.
