Hi friends! Todays books thoughts are for Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop by Rebecca Raisin. I give big thanks to Harper Collins publishers for gifting me a copy of this book to review.

First of all, if you’re looking to get into the Christmas spirit, Flora is just the perfect person to do so. She’s a no nonsense, do not pass go unless you adore Christmas type of person. I laughed and cried.

This book is mainly about Flora, and her escapades after she loses her dream job and finds out her best friend is moving to the US.

Things immediately get off on the wrong foot, and hilarity ensues. She encounters a dreamy man who helps her, but is in turn, convinced she’s a killer. Turns out she’s not able to get as far away from him as she wishes.

I loved watching Flora really begin to thrive when she’s able to do things on her own terms. She doesn’t take no for an answer, and this means that when she finally finds someone who loves her for her, it’s true and meaningful. The relationships she forges along the way are so much of an added bonus. This was a fun read.

I give Flora’s Travelling Christmas Shop 4 Stars.
