Hi friends! This post is coming to you from our new home in Pennsylvania!
My husband started his new job this week, and we are pretty much settled in. (Minus some living room furniture, but that’s going to be a while. ?♀️)
The transition has been pretty smooth, but I’ve definitely been neglecting my little corner of the internet here – I promise I will be posting more often. Menu plans, recipes, and sermon notes will soon be filling this space again. Lot’s of NetGalley reviews, too! I appreciate all of you sticking around during this time.
The past month has been a little eventful : our youngest turned 11; our old house sold after being on the market for a day; we met some online friends in real life in Chicago; and of course, we packed up everything we own and moved halfway across the country. Pennsylvania is great so far – we are definitely beyond thrilled to be surrounded by mountains.
My husband is really enjoying his new job so far. It’s a bit different from anything he has done in the past, which is refreshing. He will also be able to travel a bit, which he is looking forward to.
The girls are still homeschooling as I wait to get their final forms in the mail to be submitted for their new school. They will be doing a virtual school that is available here in PA, and I truly believe that it is going to be a great fit for each of them. So blessed to have found such a great option that seems to be the best of both worlds.
How are you? Let me know in the comments something exciting that is happening in your life.
