We are trying something new as far as meal planning goes in our family to start off the New Year.
Each day of the week has a correlation to a food, which means less stress on me because I can just choose from a particular category – and it changes things up so I don’t get stuck in a food rut.
So here is our plan for this week. (I shop on Tuesday or Wednesday usually, so I start my weeks then. Use whatever works for you!)
Tuesday & Wednesday – Mexican Lasagna.
Thursday – A recipe for macaroni and cheese that uses egg noodles instead of elbows. This recipe came from Giada De Laurentiis.
Friday – Cilantro Lime Shrimp Wraps
Saturday – My take on the Oriental Chicken Salad.
Sunday – Slow cooker chicken soup.
Monday – Frozen chicken cordon blue/kiev, mashed potatoes and gravy with broccoli.
I hope that this will inspire you in the kitchen! I found most of these recipes on Google, and the chicken cordon blue in the frozen section at Aldi.
