Today I made my first recipe for my experiment of cooking through my cookbooks and magazines.
This recipe came from the June 2018 edition of Food Network Magazine. (Page 78)
It honestly turned out completely delicious. The chicken was super flavorful.
Now, I did make a few adjustments with how it was served…it called to be served on hamburger buns with lime wedges – I used Hawaiian rolls and bread and butter pickles. But, like I said – the chicken turned out great.
I chose to serve it alongside oven baked potato wedges because I’ve got some potatoes to use up.
It tasted exactly like my normal chicken taco recipe, and this one required that I dirty my blender.
Bottom Line –
Would I make this again? Yes, in fact, I am serving this exact meal again tomorrow. My oldest daughter ate it, the youngest didn’t. My husband and I both enjoyed it.
So I’m calling it a win.
