Hi friend! I’m continuing my reading of all Stephen King novels, so next up is ‘Salem’s Lot.
This is one book that I remember my brother bought me for Christmas a million years ago, and I never actually could finish because I got too scared.
Because of that, I’m kind of excited to start this one again to see if I can actually finish it this time around.
Now, I am a lot more bound and determined to do it this time, but I have tried multiple times in the times in the past to no avail.
I’m really loving this challenge. I have a couple books already, but I’m really looking forward to utilizing my library and/or local used book stores to be able to complete them all.
Now, at this time I’m only actually going through and reading his novels. I know there are a lot of novellas and books under his pseudonym…I’m not getting into those ones. Not that I never will, but not at this time.
So follow along with me as I continue my reading adventure with ‘Salem’s Lot.
If you’ve read it – let me know your thoughts in the comments!
Thank you for taking the time to read today. 🏝
Updating to add…
I finished ‘Salem’s Lot and, wow. I can see why I struggled to complete that one in the past. It is very troubling. It kind of set me on a path of paranoia while I was reading, if I’m being completely honest. Double checking the doors…yes, I really am a big baby when it comes to scary things.
But, I’ve started this journey, and I’m determined to finish.
I had forgotten how many Stephen King books I read in the past, it was a lot more than I had originally thought. I think I blocked out a lot of those memories. ?
The Shining. (I’m horribly terrified of this one.) Taking a tip from Joey on Friends and may leave some room in the freezer for this one. ?
