Kieran Elliott’s life changed forever on the day a reckless mistake led to devastating consequences.
The guilt that still haunts him resurfaces during a visit with his young family to the small coastal community he once called home.
Kieran’s parents are struggling in a town where fortunes are forged by the sea. Between them all is his absent brother, Finn.
When a body is discovered on the beach, long-held secrets threaten to emerge. A sunken wreck, a missing girl, and questions that have never washed away…
My Review :
I enjoyed The Survivors a lot. It was very descriptive, yet quickly paced enough to keep me listening.
The narration of the audio book seemed to fit perfectly.
Kieran is a delightful character to get to know, and he develops nicely. In actuality, I enjoyed the entire range of characters, right up to the very end.
The beach also seems to be a character itself, and I appreciated that too.
The mystery of who the real criminal was honestly caught me by surprise. The book really encompasses so many angles and details that I was kept guessing the entire time. I really am grateful there were no loose ends left.
If you enjoy page turning mysteries – I’d recommend this to you!
