Hi friends! I’m back today with my thoughts on a book I recently finished – The 24 Hour Dating Agency by Mary Jayne Baker.

*Disclaimer : I received a copy of this ebook for free from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

This book tells of 3 friends/family members who, at their wits end sign up for an unconventional dating agency. The dates are supposed to last 24 hours, and they don’t find out the particulars of the date until they show up. They also don’t receive any information on their setup until that time either. Results are money back guaranteed.

I loved this book. Saffie, Milo and Tamara have each been through the ringer when it comes to their romantic lives. Needing a major change, they decide to collectively sign up for the services of Dr. Sheldrake. Not one of them was prepared for what happens next. This was so fun to read, and to see each of their unexpected results.

The family dynamic really plays a big role in this book as well. To see how they rally around each other, and even some of the unexpected characters you want to hate, really was heartwarming.

I really have no cons of this one. The 24 Hour Dating Agency was exactly what I needed to change things up from what I had been reading previously. It was funny and entertaining. For those reasons, I give this one 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5.
