Hi friends! Today’a book thoughts are for All Good People Here by Ashley Flowers.

*Disclaimer : I received a copy of this ebook for free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

This book begins by starting a story of small town Indiana back in the 90’s.

In the present day, we are met with Margot who arrives in Wakarusa to care for her uncle with dementia.

In the midst of her arrival, Margot is stunned by the news that a young girl has gone missing. This brings up the ghosts of Margot’s past, because when she was young her best friend January was killed.

Unable to disconnect the 2 events, Margot starts her own investigation. Nothing and no one is as it seems in this page turner. I also enjoyed getting to see the different dynamics of the town and characters.

I was kept on the edge of my seat throughout reading All Good People Here. Everything I thought I knew was wrong and that made me appreciate each page…

Up until the very end which was so abrupt that it made me mad. There was no pretty tie up of a bow. And with all the lead up of where the story was going, it was even more disappointing. Also, Margot being so adamant that these 2 events, which were over 2 decades apart, were connected was a little maddening to me.

For that reason,  and the wrap up of the ending, I give this one 3.5 stars.
